Operation Christmas Child

Each year, we pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Relief. These boxes are delivered to children around the world in need, so that they may receive Christmas presents while also learning about God's love.

In November, a crew of volunteers travels to Charlotte, NC, to pack the boxes at a distribution center. Each month of this year, we will be collecting individual items to stuff boxes at a packing party closer to the deadline at Greenpond Baptist!

THIS MONTH'S COLLECTION ITEMS: TOYS (small stuffed animals, small musical instruments, light up toys, etc. PLEASE include batteries for toys that need them.)

Global Missions

As a church, we support selected missionaries from our local community. We collect donations throughout the year, and receive updates from our missionaries as we keep them in our prayers.

Dean Camburides

Located in Taiwan

Dean is a member of Greenpond Baptist Church. He lives with his wife, Katrina, in Taiwan. Together, they teach English to children ranging from kindergarten to ninth grade, as well as some adults. They use this time to also teach their students about Jesus, using the Bible as a primary resource. With our offerings, they are able to purchase Bibles in Chinese and English. As their students graduate, they gift them each a Bible.

Jordanna Ailor

Located in Costa Rica

Jordanna is the Director of NOW (Neighbors Outreach Worldwide) Costa Rica. She lives in Costa Rica with her husband and their two young children. Her home church is Beale Memorial Baptist Church.
